A site adverstsing my services for pc repairs. My target
market for this business are the so called silver surfers and so
accordingly the design is clean & simple and the text size can
be adjusted to suit.
This
is a web and private intranet site which involved password protecting
directories, configuration of message board scripts and feedback
forms. The private part of the site is still being developed.
East Glasgow LHCC - Intranet Site
I cannot
link to the live version of this site as it is a private intranet
containing sensitive material. The link on the right will take you
to a sample page located on my web space. As all links within the
page are relative clicking on any of the navigation buttons will
take you to an error page.
Greater Easterhouse
Partnership - Final
This
page is currently being developed but a test version is available
by clicking the link below. Frames were used to allow the site content
to be updated without having to alter other aspects of the site.
Greater Easterhouse Partnership - Original
This
was my original version of the above site with stronger colours.
Touch & Go - Touch Screen
This
Web site was designed for touch screen kiosks with a fast
DSL connection. The design is intended to be clear, simple and easy
to use for the whole community, many of whom, have no experience
with computers.
The design of this site is fixed as we knew the exact screen size
and resolution it would be viewed with. This version uses more images
and animations to make use of the fast connection and the local
caching of the site.
Touch & Go - Web version
This
is the web version of the above site. We have reduced the size and
quantity of the graphics and adapted the design to allow for different
screen sizes and resolutions.
Blackwood Library
This
was the first site I designed as part of my web development coursework.
I have learned a great deal since this time. If faced with this
project again the end result would be very different.
All the HTML was hand coded. The guest book was originally coded
as ASP's using java-script however this is no longer functioning
as the page has been removed from the university servers.
